Serious incident at Salvation Army inner-city homeless service

7 November 2015

Late last night there was an extremely serious incident which took place where one of our clients was stabbed at our Foster House inner-city homeless service in Surry Hills.

The client is currently in hospital and our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

The staff at Foster House are understandably shaken by the incident and The Salvation Army is providing counselling and other support to them at this time.

The Salvation Army is cooperating and assisting the police with their inquiries into the incident and therefore will be unable to make any further public comment.
