Summer 2020

Thank you for your investment of hope and care

Thank you for partnering with us to offer support, stability and strength to those facing hardship, poverty, isolation, natural disaster and more. What a beautiful and life-changing gift.

Your support truly is the gift that keeps on giving. Helping even one person back on their feet can then flow, to their family, their community and far beyond. Yours is an ongoing investment of hope and care.

It is moving and inspiring to discover that so many who are helped then go on to help others.

In this issue of On the Street we meet just a few of those people whose lives have been changed through your support of The Salvation Army’s work.

You will read about people like Dianne and Chris who were transformed through ongoing care and love – who found faith and hope, and have since gone on to serve so many others. I do hope you find joy and inspiration in these true-life stories.

I pray that in what seems like tumultuous times, they remind us that goodness, generosity and care for others have real power to change lives, and help shape and change our world for the better.

May God bless you richly.
