Salvos Funerals

Salvo talking to gentleman

Salvos Funerals is a Salvation Army initiative that offers compassionate and affordable care to those in grief. We currently serve the Greater Sydney and Central Coast regions of New South Wales, with plans to expand to reach more Australians.

The initiative, which began in early 2017, aims to provide a beautiful and affordable funeral that is a thoughtful blend of remembrance, celebration and mourning.

Salvos Funerals caters for all funeral arrangement types and can assist with specific cultural or family requirements. Following the funeral, we can help people access our other social services and provide ongoing support.

Our operating model

By working with our trusted partners, Salvos Funerals provides real value for quality services. We are here to help people and thoughtfully plan and manage what can be an overwhelming task.

Salvos Funerals is entirely owned and operated by The Salvation Army, with all profits reinvested into our charitable works. By choosing Salvos Funerals, you will be helping us help those in need.

Consumer advocate Christopher Zinn has welcomed The Salvation Army's entry into the market. "The Salvation Army’s entry into this important market will bring much-needed competition, transparency and genuine lower-cost options," Mr Zinn said.
