Major Bev Beeson, and her husband Paul, are the Corps Officers at CitySalvos. They have been assisting at CitySalvos since February 2024 and will continue to do so until the new Corps Officers commence in November 2024.

Bev has worked for The Salvation Army for thirty three years as Corps Officer, Divisional Officer and also Area Officer. She has served in both country and metropolitan South Australia as well as Victoria, which included overseeing sixteen Corps as Area Officers.

When asked why she does what she does Bev said "This is our calling, this is what God has called us to do and that is what we hang on to when the times get tough."

When asked why he does what he does Paul said " I do what I do because I believe that God has the power to change people's lives and I love to see Him at work doing just that. And if I get to be involved in some small way, that's a bonus!".

Jacqui Heaton is our Children's and Family Ministry Assistant and has been with us since July 2019

Jacqui's love for Jesus is infectious and she has a desire to see kids and families flourish.

When asked why she does what she does Jacqui said "I do it because I love Jesus and I love sharing about Jesus with kids."

Tina Kordahi is our Administration coordinator and Ministry Assistant. Tina has been with us since October 2016.

Tina is passionate about the local church and uses her many and varied skills to equip those around her to be effective in ministry. 

When asked why she does what she does Tina said "I do what I do because I see it as vitally important in the running of CitySalvos. I love that I can practically support and release the Corps Officers as well as the rest of the team as they minister to the Corps."

Ali Halls works as our Do Unto Other's (DUO's) Coordinator.

Ali is energetic and loves to emower others to be all that God created them to be.

When asked why she does what she does Ali said "I love working for The Salvation Army because I am able to be a source of compassion, encouragement and hope to those who need it most."

Sue Smith commenced her role of Assistant Corps Officer in July 2024.

She has worked for The Salvation Army for thirty nine years as Corps Officer, Territorial Headquarters Officer and Divisional Officer. Serving in both country and metropolital New South Wales, Australian Captital Territory and Queensland, as well as New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

When asked why she does what she does Sue said "I love to help people and was called by God to do this, so want to do all I can to fulfill that which I was called to do to spead the word of God."
