The Salvation Army in Batemans Bay, Ulladulla and Moruya today

The Salvation Army in the Eurobodalla and lower Shoalhaven remains a vibrant expression of God’s love in the community.

Sunday services are held in Batemans Bay and Ulladulla, and weekly Bible study and discipleship classes operate during the week in both locations.

In Batemans Bay, weekly groups include indoor bowls for the disabled, Mainly Music for pre-schoolers and their carers, kids and youth groups. People in need can access emergency assistance through The Salvation Army’s Doorways program, free financial counselling through The Salvation Army’s Moneycare program and low-cost clothing, household goods and furniture at the Batemans Bay, Moruya or Ulladulla Family Stores. The Salvation Army regularly conducts nursing home and hospital visitation and runs court-house chaplaincy at both Batemans Bay and Moruya.

The Ulladulla Salvation Army sponsors a local basketball team. Exciting things are happening, says Ulladulla Salvation Army leader, Envoy Jake Clanfield. Doors are continuing to open in the community and just recently we enrolled Ulladulla’s first Salvation Army soldier.
