The Salvation Army in Goulburn today

The Salvation Army remains a vibrant presence in Goulburn today. Each month there are various groups running for all ages. A Salvation Army Emergency Services team is trained to respond to any incidents and supports the community at local events. People in need can gain assistance through the Sally Van, and the local Family Store where people can get low-cost clothing and household goods, as well as welfare support. Moneycare, The Salvation Army’s free financial counselling service, is also available in Goulburn and court support is available for both the accused, the victims and legal personnel. And, of course, there are worship services every Sunday morning. We would invite anyone in the community to pop into and see us at our Hovell Street centre or Auburn Street store, says Captain Tuesday McCall.
