The Salvation Army in Queanbeyan today

The Salvation Army remains a vibrant presence in Queanbeyan today, with many activities to cater for the needs of the local community. People in need can access emergency assistance and financial counselling at The Salvation Army ministry centre on Morisset Street, and find low-cost clothing and household goods at our Salvos Store on Crawford Street. Employment Plus in Queanbeyan is also available on Morisset Street for job seekers. The Salvation Army ministry centre hosts a range of activities for all ages throughout the week. Toddlers and their carers can enjoy Mainly Music, people of all ages are invited to “Connection Cafe” on Thursdays where friendship and lunch is on the menu and our Sunday worship services features elements for all ages.
