The Salvation Army in Ayr today

The Salvation Army in Ayr remains a vibrant presence in the city of Ayr today.

It’s led by Major Garry Johnson (pictured right), a former Salvation Army Red Shield Defence Service representative who served with Aussie troops of the 1st Royal Australian Regiment in East Timor.

He says there’s something for everyone at Ayr Salvos: We are a multi-generational church of loving, caring people looking for ways to bring freedom to others in our community.
