Our home in Bathurst

Bathurst barracks Bathurst Hall 19341886 saw the first stone laid in Russell Street (pictured far right), where the Army was to establish itself for the next 100 years. In 1934 a newly constructed Salvation Army citadel (pictured above left) on the same site was opened, and the building also housed the divisional headquarters for the western region. Today, The Salvation Army corps (church) and welfare centre is located on Stewart Street, with a family store and welfare centre located in Keppel Street.
