The Salvation Army in Forbes today

The Salvos remain a vibrant presence in Forbes today. Sunday services start at 9:30am every week, during the week our Family Store is open from Tuesday to Friday, where we run a “Hope” coffee and chat group and provide welfare assistance. Local children are cared for with assistance to attend the annual Red Shield Kids Camp and other Salvation Army camps. Family movie nights at the Forbes Salvation Army are also very popular. Every year at Christmas The Salvation Army in Forbes provides Christmas hampers and toys to those in need. All of our services are available to both the Forbes and Parkes communities.
