Parkes Greats - Rosemary Richardson

Present-day heroes include Envoy Rosemary Richardson, Chaplain at Rosedurnate Aged Care Plus Centre. Four years ago, Rosemary moved to Parkes after several years working the streets of Sydney as a Salvation Army chaplain to homeless young people. Now, she ministers to the needs of Rosedurnate residents: It’s being a stable person in people's lives; being available to listen and be there when you are needed. And, despite living in the country, Rosemary has kept up her city pace: It is very fulfilling work and quite busy with chapel services, resident outings, activities, and pastoral care.
