Deep roots, young branches
Compared with the worldwide Salvation Army, the organisation in Rouse Hill is relatively young, but builds on the rich history of The Salvation Army from across Sydney, Australia and around the world. In 2002, The Salvation Army appointed Captains Dennis and Sue McGuigan to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding communities in the area, a population at that time which was comparable to that of Canberra.
