Our home in Taree

The Salvation Army in Taree held meetings at various rented locations in the town until a new hall was built and opened on 10 May 1907. Unfortunately a fire in Manning Street on 15 November 1923 partially destroyed the hall. The re-opening of the hall took place a year later. In 1966, a new Salvation Army citadel and Youth Block was built and opened. It remains the centre of The Salvation Army’s work in Taree today.
