In times of need

Stock imageIt’s often said that The Salvation Army has a ministry of “presence” – of  being there in times of need. During times of flooding throughout the decades, The Salvation Army in Ballina has always responded to help those in need, most recently during the 2013 floods where Salvation Army Emergency Services teams assisted by providing meals for those stranded. They also catered for the emergency services personnel at the scene. Ballina Salvation Army Officer, Lieutenant Wes Bust, is also chaplain to the local fire brigade.
