Kempsey History

After a journey of 20 miles on horseback and 12 miles on foot, the first Salvation Army officers arrived at Kempsey on 15 June 1889. More than 125 years later the Army is still going strong in the town, offering a range of services and activities to help people experience freedom and full life.
