The Salvation Army in Nambucca River today

The Nambucca River Salvation Army remains a vibrant presence in the community today. Nearly every day of the week something is happening at our River Street centre, from children’s youth, men’s women’s and seniors groups, to our WOW (worship on Wednesdays) special service for anyone in need, and a two-our Christian radio program on the local community radio station.

Our Family Store provides emergency assistance when needed, and also blesses the community with low-cost clothing and household goods and furniture.

Salvation Army Nambucca River leaders, Captains Petra and Steve Dorman, invite anyone from the community to pop in, say ‘G’day’ and find out what the Salvos are all about. We’re about people finding Jesus, says Steve. A vibrant faith in Jesus Christ brings freedom and life in all its fullness, and that’s an invitation God holds out to everyone!
