The Salvation Army in Ipswich today
Ipswich Salvation Army continues to serve its locality with the same spirit of Salvationism as introduced in 1883. It operates a corps (church), a Family Store, Indigenous Ministries, a Doorways Community Centre which provides welfare and other services, and a Salvation Army chaplain works to minister to the needs of offenders, their families and victims at the Ipswich court and prisons.
