South Burnett 'Greats' - Oliver Smerdon

The Salvation Army in South Burnett has produced its fair share of outstanding Salvationists.

Of note is Oliver Smerdon, who came out of Murgon, was trained as a Salvation Army officer in the very first session at the new Salvation Army Officer Training College in Sydney in 1921.
