Always about people finding FREEDOM

From its early days when The Salvation Army band used to march down local streets, to today when Salvos can be found running local playgroups or teaching budgeting skills, one thing has remained the same. The Salvation Army is about people finding freedom.

Seventy years ago Charles Cross found it through Salvation Army ministry – doing all he could to support and encourage the ANZACS in World War Two. Not all that long ago Carolyn – homeless and pregnant – found freedom through the love and support of The Salvation Army’s crisis accommodation services and Campsie Salvation Army, where she became a member.

And there are many, many more great freedom stories to share.
