Each Sunday morning we gather together at 9.30am to worship and praise God. This service allows people the freedom to worship and connect with God through music, scriptures, prayer, sharing and hearing from God’s word. Throughout the service, time is made available for people to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading in their lives. Prayers for healing, thanksgiving, forgiveness, freedom, transformation and praise are made available to all who desire it. Our worship service is a vibrant experience for the whole family, celebrating God through scripture, song and sermon.
We explore who Jesus is and all that He has for us through the power of the Holy Spirit. Opportunity is provided in the service for people to share together over a coffee or other refreshments and connect with one another. We look forward to meeting you.

Isaiah 56:7
We believe prayer to be an absolute necessity in the life of the church and vital to seeing the Kingdom of God established in our community. Prayer is an awesome privilege, exciting and rewarding, so we encourage you to be a people of prayer.
"If we call upon the Lord, He has promised in His word to answer, to bring the unsaved to Himself, to pour out His Spirit among us. If we don't call upon the Lord, He has promised nothing, nothing at all. It's as simple as that."
Jim Cymbala - Pastor and author of 'Fresh Wind Fresh Fire'

These are groups of various age people who have an interest in connecting with others, enjoying a time of fellowship, engaging in Bible Study and growing as followers of Jesus.
Some of our fellowship groups meet weekly and some fortnightly. Each group is committed to being inclusive of everyone and with the sole purpose of creating a space where people may belong and be a part of a faith community where they are loved and accepted. In these fellowship groups people are encouraged to experience and encounter the love of Jesus and come to an understanding and knowledge of who He is in their lives. If you would like to be a part of a fellowship group or would like more information about these groups, please contact the office.
"The term discipleship designates the whole of life response of a person to Jesus Christ. Everything a person believes and does is an aspect of discipleship. The goal of discipleship for an individual is growing and maturing, examining and changing how they think, feel and act as they become more Christ-like in every aspect of life."
At Balga Salvation Army we believe in the importance of every follower of Jesus continuing to actively grow in their relationship with God through their commitment to be in the Word of God and spending time in prayer with Him. The discipleship programme at Balga Salvation Army is an ongoing work in progress with the desire to cover a range of areas to assist and enable the growing of God's people as we do life together through service to Him and one another.
Salvationism 101 is one such programme. This one day course helps explain what the Salvation Army is all about, covering areas of History, Structure, Beliefs, and Mission. This is an exciting look into why the Salvos exist.

Our morning coffee shop continues to be a place of warmth, friendship, compassion and faith journey support to many, many people from our local suburbs. Sadly in many individuals lives it is the only place of friendship and sustenance. Each day brings people into our Church from all walks of life and as we take small steps with them on their journey we are able to offer the small elements of life that build into the transforming power of Jesus. Many days we have people waiting at our door to begin their day with a hot chocolate/coffee, friendship and a few minutes of contemplative thinking.
