At Bayside Salvos we place aigh value on our children and love them participating in all areas of  our church and community life. We have activities for children of all ages. See below information in relation to children in primary school and below. Go to our Teens page for information about activities for high school aged children.

Lighthouse Kids 

Lighthouse Kids is a program run for kids during our Sunday Worship service. Ligthhouse kids caters to pre-Prep children (Creche) and primary school ages children.

Our team is committed and trained in working with children, hold blue cards and ave undergone the certified National Safeguarding Children training. 

Our mission in Ligthouse Kids is to see every child know they are loved by Jesus, and are equipped to share that love with the World. 

Junior Soldiers 

Junior Soldiers are young people ages 7-18 who have made the decision to be a follower of Jesus and who want to grow and express their faith through the ministry in The Salvation Army.

There are many oppourtunities at Bayside Salvos for children to serve and be involved in the church. Junior Soldiers meet monthly to follow a structured discipleship program to grow as followers of Jesus and engage in community projects. Each Junior Soldier is connected with a Big Bud who is a significant adult that will pray for the Junior Soldier and also take an intrest in what they do, particularly their Spiritual development, supporting them in any way they can.

Kids Club

For primary school aged kids, Kids Club runs weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 & 9 of school terms. With dinner provided, it is intended to support kids in building friendships and faith all in a loving, game based environment. Play Time

For children aged 0-5 and their parents/guardians, Play Time runs every Friday of school term. We have fun playing and crafting, while making new friends. 9am - 11am. BYO morning tea, hat and water bottle. If you would like more information, please contact our office.
