This Salvation Army event is a child-safe event. All staff are volunteers and have valid blue cards (policed checked & safe to work with children).
Brassworx 24 is an enriching musical experience for young and emerging brass instrumentalists and percussion musicians.
The event provides an opportunity to explore the fantastic repertoire of the brass band world while improving skills under the guidance of one of Australia’s best brass band trainers - Ken Waterworth.
The musical focus will be on the deep and wide Salvation Army brass band repertoire, with local Brisbane and Australian & overseas composers, allowing participants to enjoy brass band playing at the highest possible standard.
Brassworx seeks to inspire and motivate musicians by playing great music in a supportive environment, showcasing the rich tradition of Salvation Army and other brass band music.
