Are you 16 to 25 years of age?
At Planet Muse you can experience:
- Playing, singing and writing music
- Staging, lighting and audio visual technology for musical performance
- Music industry knowledge such as marketing and copyright
- Basic business knowledge for setting up a career in music or the Arts
No previous musical experience is necessary, just an interest in music and the music industry.
Planet Muse community members support one another creatively and socially to improve our capacity and realise our creative potential.
Consider joining the Planet Muse community for either a 6-month or 12-month experience involving online collaborations and learning as well as face-to-face workshops.
Course workshops operate from The Salvation Army Camberwell, 7-11 Bowen Street, Camberwell, Victoria, 3124.
COURSE OPTIONS
OPTION 1
A part-time 18-week non-accredited 6-month course
- A part-time non-accredited course which involves weekly online and face-to-face workshops. Micro-credentials are earned in this version.
- This intake will not be accredited; however, a Planet Muse Certificate of Completion will be awarded to those who complete the full 18-weeks.
- Cost is free; however, donations to this project are always welcome.
OPTION 2
A part-time 38-week VET accredited version of the Planet Muse course for people 16 or 17 years of age wishing to complete a Certificate 3 in Music (CUA30920)
- Our first in-take commences Term 1, 2025.
- A part-time VET (Eva Burrows College RTO 0328) accredited version involving participation over 12 months which results in earning credit towards a Certificate III in Music (Performance).
- Cost is free; however, some Schools offer funding for this qualification as part of a Year 12 curriculum.
