Advent & Christmas 2024

1 December 2024 - 25 December 2024

"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.'"

Luke 2:10, NIV

Camberwell Salvos invites you, your family, friends and neighbours to celebrate a gift of joy this Christmas.

Throughout December we'll be exploring the occasions when angels visited ordinary people to deliver an extraordinary message, culminating with the glorious moment when Heaven meets Earth in the birth of Jesus.

Our 2024 Advent & December services are listed below.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1

10am / Heaven meets Earth: Messengers of God

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8

10am / Kids Celebration & Giving Tree Service

Morning worship service led by the youngest members of our church family.

There will be opportunity for people to donate a pre-purchased gift card and to hang it on the Christmas tree. By donating a gift card instead of traditional toys, it means a parent or guardian can still share in the unique joy of buying a gift for their child or family member this Christmas.

God bless you as you consider your giving this Christmas.

5pm / Sunday Night Church

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15

10am / Heaven meets Earth: Presence of God

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22

5pm / Carol Service

Hear a message of hope and enjoy singing lots of Christmas carols with our musicians.

A freewill offering will be taken during the service to support The Salvation Army's International Development (SAID) Health and Dignity Project, Malawi.

People are welcome to give now via the SAID website or during the Carol Service.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 25

10am / Christmas Day Service

Celebrate the message of God's love and kindness through the arrival of His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Christmas Day offering will be directed to The Salvation Army's International Development (SAID) Health and Dignity Project, Malawi.

People are welcome to give now via the SAID website or during the Christmas Day Service.

Thank you for your generosity.

We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating together.
