20 April 2009
Dear Friends, After prayer and consideration the Campsie Salvation Army Leadership Team wish to inform you regarding a regular format for our meetings commencing Sunday 3rd May, 2009. Naturally enough the following format is flexible and subject to change due to Territorial, Divisional, and other special events, for example: Church in the Park; Red Shield Doorknock; Territorial 'Uprising'; and the like. This format for the night meetings will be tried for a period of twelve months and re-evaluated after this period. The morning meeting, as previously indicated, will remain at 10.30am. The night meetings will flow through the following format:
This change is designed to create space for people from the congregation to connect with and enjoy fellowship with others outside of normal meeting times. For instance: Some may choose to invite others home, for a meal without the constraints of time. Some may choose to get together in a different environment. Still others may choose to gather together in fellowship in a small group setting. The opportunities are endless. Please note though that this is not designed to reduce the time we spend together, rather this is designed to increase our connections with each other in ways that are not restricted to program or setting. 6.00pm meeting at the hall. This is a continuation of our normal 'Café Church'. 6.00pm meeting at the hall. 6.00pm meeting at the hall.
