SQ Family camp
Date: 19th September 2012 - 19th November 2012
Friends, as you are probably aware we are doing something a bit different with SAGALA Camp this year. This year’s camp will be a family camp where you have the opportunity to invite families to come along with their children to a one night/one day camp.
All meals will be provided. You will not need to bring anything other than a tent and sleeping gear.
Some of the exciting things we’re organising include:
DIY Pizza in a Woodfired Pizza Oven
Extreme Sports
Geocaching Hike
Bonfire
And much more!
This event concludes on Saturday afternoon. Because of this, we would be grateful if your corps would consider a Church Parade the following day or at least have a segment in your meeting where you can present the children & parents who attended with their badges and t-shirt. Moonbeams and Explorers will complete 2 badges. The other sections will complete 3. We are giving the parents a special t-shirt commemorating the camp this year.
We’re really looking forward to providing a space where leaders and families can get to know each other. It is our prayer that you would make the most of this time and that you too would see it as a valuable outreach opportunity.
If you have children in your corps who are not members of SAGALA but who are interested in exploring this program, please feel free to give them a registration form and brochure.
