When children come knocking at your door for Halloween, why don’t you give them a KidZone and a lolly.  Make some cup cakes or cookies, decorated with brightly colouted smarties to hand out.   Use a bright yellow star post it note to add a message.

Some suggested Scripture verses that can be added to the post it notes or stickers could be. 

1 John 4:9   God showed his love for us when he sent his only Son Jesus into the world to give us life.

John 10:10   Jesus said, I came so you can have real and eternal life, more and better life than you ever dreamed of.

John 3:16    God loved the people of the world so much, that he gave his only son Jesus, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

As a postive alternative to Halloween, New Zealand churches hold light parties.   Have a look at this website for information.   Light Party.
