At Colac Salvos, our deepest desire is to live, love and fight alongside our community through the love of Christ.
We serve the region from Derrinallum down to Port Campbell, across to Lorne and back up to Cressy and everywhere in between.
We seek to provide aid to all we serve so that they have better and abundant physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. So, all can feel supported and to be fully engaged in every aspect of life. We call this living a healthy and holistic life.
Leading our team is Lieutenant Paul Trotter who is leading our pastoral care team to Live, Love and Fight alongside the Colac region to transform lives through the Love of Jesus, to offer support and guidance in the toughest times in our lives.
Paul also leads our community centre team, so we can provide the best possible experience for everyone that walks through our doors in need of practical assistance, emotional or spiritual assistance or even just a coffee and casual chat with our amazing team.
Josiah Van Niekerk works alongside Paul in leading Colac Salvos through increasing our community and organisational engagement, so we can best serve our community directly and to have tight knit relationships with support organisations across the Colac region, helping to ensure seamless connection for community members across the region.
Josiah helps lead our amazing team of volunteers. Without our volunteers, none of what we do or who we are could exist. We have a team of over 100 volunteers across both our Community Centre and Thrift Shop and more join regularly to help grow what we are capable of doing for the Colac region.
Mandy is the store manager in our Thrift Shop, and she works alongside Jenny, they both aim to provide a great experience in both customer service and how we are able to merchandise the generous donation given by the community.
Mandy Leads our shop volunteers, for all to feel safe and engaged through serving the community in the many ways the shop offers, it is a powerful thing to do your part in serving the community however you can.
We have many exciting things in the pipeline for 2024, if you want to be a part of shaping Colac Salvos to be the very best support it can be for the Colac region, think of joining our Team, donating financially or donating items to our shop or community centre.
All of your support goes directly to assist the people of the Colac region
