It takes an army of volunteers to provide and enable practical care for Australians every year. Volunteers bring life to our values of integrity, compassion, respect, diversity and collaboration.
Volunteers assist right across Dandenong Corps, within our faith community, social activities, thrift shop and community support. Without our amazing team of volunteers we could not make the impact we do.
We advertise our upcoming volunteer positions on The Salvation Army's Volunteer Opportunities Portal. Take a look and see what's needed right now.
We are an approved voluntary work organisation for those over 55 years looking to meet Services Australia (Centrelink) requirements.
As part of The Salvation Army's commitment to safeguarding children, young and vulnerable people, many roles require Victorian police checks and/or Victorian Working with Children Checks. We can assist you if you don't already have these.
Community Services student placements are negotiated with individual service streams, rather than through Dandenong Corps. Please approach the services directly.
