What might lead someone to The Salvation Army?

For many it’s the result of circumstances completely out of their control.

David lost everything after an act of domestic violence in his family home. He was left with an acquired brain injury, hearing and mobility impairments, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. With no support from his family, David became homeless – sleeping near public toilets just so he could access warm water. Struggling on his own, it was hunger that eventually led him to the Salvos.

By choosing to make a regular donation today you will have a direct and immediate impact on those most vulnerable in your community, like David.

Your donations will be put to use right away to provide urgent care and long-term support to transform the lives of people who so desperately need your help.
