Grant information
The Salvation Army ex-Cyclone Alfred relief grant application portal is now closed.
Applications for this relief grant were received between 9am Wednesday, 19th March and 5pm Friday, 28th March.
If you have applied before the closing date, processing of your application will continue over the next couple of weeks. Please wait to hear back from a Salvation Army phone assessor between 1-10 business days from your application. Our assessors will try to call you from this number (07) 3001 6211 between 9am – 4pm QLD time, Monday-Friday.
Supporting documents required for all applications
To proceed with your application, please have the following available to email:
- A photo or scanned copy of your Photo ID that can confirm your name and primary place of residence address, such as a driver’s license or Proof of age card
- A photo or scanned copy of your Medicare or Healthcare card to confirm any of your dependents under 18 in your application
- If you have other dependents over 18 in your application from your household, they will also need to provide their Photo ID and confirmation in writing that they agree for their application for assistance to be provided to the primary applicant
