The Salvation Army Australia is responding to Indonesia's earthquake and tsunami
Following the 7.7-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami which caused massive damage across Central Sulawesi, we have been called to
The Salvation Army Indonesia has a substantial presence in the region, including schools and hospitals, but has also sustained serious damage. Our Woodward Hospital in Palu has been damaged but is thankfully still functional and providing vital emergency assistance to survivors. Necessary repairs are being carried out to ensure operating theatres are functioning and patients can be cared for indoors, rather than in tents. Woodward is even more important today because the main city hospital has collapsed
We are asking for your help to get supplies to those affected.
On behalf of those you are helping, we thank you for your compassionate and generous support.
