Salvation Army Emergency Services. The trained volunteers go out with the foodservice trailer to feed those bringing the "emergency" under control. This could be like a fire, flood, or any other "emergency" where the fire brigade, SES, police, or others need food and refreshments.
Most SAES volunteers come from Salvation Army churches; however, all people are welcome to be involved. The Fassifern Salvation Army have a Salvation Army Emergency Service (SAES) group of volunteers that operates within the Scenic Rim area. A well-fitted trailer that can cater to hundreds of people is called upon to assist Emergency Services and the Community during natural disasters or community events.
