Kids in the Kitchen Fassifern

Have you heard about the Salvos 'Kids in the Kitchen'?

Each school term up to 12 kids (8-12 years old or in Years 3-6) come together one afternoon a week to learn how to cook simple meals for themselves and their family.

It runs from 4:30-6:30pm.

During the night the kids watch a demonstration on the meal being cooked, cook it themselves in groups of up to 4 with an adult supervisor and eat what they have cooked.

Cost is $50 for the term (or $5 each week).
Kids get to keep their recipe cards each week and receive a badge to show they have cooked the meal.
