Messy easter

On Sunday the 12th April 2015 we held a Messy Church for Easter.  To remember the events of Easter we were invited to particpate in various crafts including Salt paintings to be reminded of the tears shed on Good Friday, A Cross Suncather to remind us of the grief and sadness of Friday, but also the joy and exultation of the empty cross on Sunday morning and finally we made an easter treat in the form of an empty tomb.  It was a wonderful morning, and we were encouraged to continue to rememner God's ultimate sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ, who is risen from the dead!
