Summer Newsletter 2021
25 November 2021
As we near another end of year and pause to reflect, we cannot deny that the last two years have impacted SAID’s community projects and initiatives in the countries we operate in.
However, the sheer grit and persistent dedication of our team and counterparts worldwide – to help those who are doing it tough, has meant SAID has continued to deliver the support and care that many in vulnerable communities seek.
This newsletter contains a snapshot of the various SAID activities over the last year – from the agility of our teams and our response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, to stories like the Ki WASH project that is providing communities in rural Malawi greater access to safe and clean drinking water, improved sanitation and hygiene facilities, better food security and greater resilience to climate change and its impact on livelihoods.
