The Salvation Army has a number of opportunities for primary and secondary school students to get involved in Victoria.
Whether it be participating in a workshop or presentation, volunteering their time, or fundraising, students will gain a greater understanding of issues facing thousands of Australians every day.
NSW & ACT
Salvos Schools NSW and ACT provides educational workshops and opportunities for school students to engage, learn and make a difference in their local community. Aligned with their curriculum, the following programs will engage students and school communities in social justice education and introduce service-learning with The Salvation Army.
WA
The Salvation Army has several opportunities for primary and secondary school students to get involved with in Western Australia.
Participating in a workshop or presentation, volunteering their time, or fundraising, students will gain a greater understanding of issues facing thousands of Australians every day.
TAS
Schools programs in Tasmania aim to raise awareness of the issues that many Tasmanians face every day including poverty, homelessness, and a lack of hope for a better future. The programs also hope to inspire students to not just learn about the issues but to rise up, speak up and take action to help make a difference.
QLD
