Make an impact with our SAES team

'SAES’ stands for Salvation Army Emergency Services; they’re the people you will see in the community and on the front lines whenever there is a crisis or natural disaster. You may have seen our Macarthur SAES Crew out and about during the Black Summer Bushfires or the 2022 Camden Floods. 

It’s safe to say that Salvos are known for being hands-on people. Our mission statement talks about us fighting wherever there is hardship or injustice. That is demonstrated so well through our SAES team. 

Our team’s main job is manning evacuation centres during natural disasters and feeding those in the community who have been displaced from their homes.
