Central Vic Salvos (CVS) Youth and Young Adults is a place for all young people to come together, have some fun, and grow spiritually. It includes events and activities around Central Vic (Maryborough, Bendigo & Castlemaine) and within the broader Salvation Army.
Youth group is an inclusive and welcoming space for high school-aged young people across the Central Vic Salvos area (Maryborough, Bendigo & Castlemaine) to make friends, have fun and learn more about faith in a safe place.
We meet at 6pm every Friday during school terms. Each week includes dinner with various themed events and activities held at Maryborough Salvos (unless otherwise specified).
Faith Chats is an inclusive space for high school-aged young people across Central Vic Salvos to explore faith and learn more about God.
Each week includes faith-related discussions and activities and opportunities to ask all those hard or big faith and life questions in a safe place.
Our Young Adults Group is an inclusive and welcoming space for adults between the age of 18-35 years who live across the Central Vic Salvos area (Maryborough, Bendigo & Castlemaine) to meet new people, have fun and find belonging in a safe place.
Our social gatherings are generally held monthly and include a meal together with locations and activities varying depending on the group's interests. Previous gatherings have included for example games nights, escape rooms, bowling and attending local community events.

We are committed to the safety and well-being of people of all ages, particularly children and young people. All our youth and children's volunteers have completed child-safe training and have approved integrity checks (inc WWCC).
