The Community Hub gathers a range of allied services engaging with the approximately 500 people a day accessing the services provided by The Salvation Army Melbourne from 69 Bourke Street.
By providing a shared space at 69 Bourke Street, services are able to share information within the parameters allowed by privacy legislation. Services are also able to invest their energies in supporting people experiencing homelessness and Melbourne’s vulnerable community either through direct service delivery or by establishing connections to appropriate services.
Services involved in the Community Hub include Ambulance Victoria, Hearing Australia, Salvation Army Greenlight, St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and Victoria Police Proactive Policing Unit.
If you are a provider of services that could support people experiencing homelessness and Melbourne’s vulnerable community either through direct service delivery or by establishing connections to appropriate services, we would like to hear from you.
