Is your workplace looking for an opportunity to give back to the community? If so then we would love for you to join us at The Salvation Army Ryde as we fight for freedom for all people, from everything that can crush the human spirit! We welcome both individual and group corporate volunteers who have a willingness to partner and a desire to invest and participate within the community.

Benefits of corporate volunteering

Corporate volunteering gives individuals additional and transferable skills, increases companies' standing in the community and their workforce morale. But most importantly it provides the community with motivated and skilled volunteers. Companies which participate in corporate volunteering have reported improvements in their recruitment and retention of employees, increased scope for staff development and improved corporate image and reputation.

What could we do?

The Salvation Army Moree can use corporate volunteers right across our work, some of the areas could include:

- Administration (typing, clerical and reception work)
- Preparing & serving meals
- Fundraising activities
- Special event organisation, planning and delivery
- Accompanying vulnerable community members to appointments
- Teaching art, cooking, music and other skills classes
- Gardening and landscaping projects
- Mentoring and encouraging young people
- Just to name a few!
