Community Support Services

Phone Assistance Line (ph: 8130 6188): We want to support you in your time of crisis. Our Phone Assistance Line is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and our friendly staff will have a chat about your current situation, assess the type of assistance we have available and arrange a time for you to pick up your assistance from our local Murray Bridge Office. 

Moneycare Financial Counselling (1800 722 363): We have 2 dedicated Financial Counsellors here at our Murray Bridge Community Support Office who can assist you with budgeting, debt consolidation, advocacy and much more. Please call our Moneycare team 1800 722 363 to arrange an appointment. Alternatively if you want to have an informal chat about the services we offer pop in during Office Hours (Mon/Wed/Thus 9am to 2pm).

Case Work: We have a great Caseworker who can assist with strategies and information to work through challenging personal situations and help you to achieve your goals. Appointments can be arranged through our Phone Assistance Line 8130 6188. Alternatively if you want to have an informal chat about the services we offer pop in during Office Hours (Mon/Wed/Thus 9am to 2pm).

NILS (No Interest Loans): Our NILS Loans service can be accessed by calling through to our Moneycare Team 1800 722 363 and making a time to see our local NILS worker to help you apply for a no interest loan to assist with the purchase of essential items.

The Corps & Community Support Office is open from 9:30am - 12:30pm Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays for pre-arranged appointments. Please call 85311133 after 9am for an appointment. We ocassionally have material aid items  (warm jackets, food, blankets, etc.) out front for those in need to take as needed. Please feel free to pop in and have a chat with our friendly staff if you are walking past.

'Monday Melts' Community Meal: Each Monday 11am to 1pm in the Church Supper Hall we have a Cheese Toasty, Coffee and Converasation time. This is open to all who are hungry or want to have a meaningful conversation with one of our amazing Community Support team. Often our Financial counsellors and Case Workers will be there, so there is opportunity to have an informal chat to them and see if you could benefit from follow up support services if you desire.

Christmas Cheer: Each year in the lead up to Christmas we provide support topeople in need in the community. We distribute Toys for children and material aid to help families and individuals with food for Christmas More info about this will be updated online closer to the regiatration date in November each year.
