Generals Visit at NBC
7.30pm-9.30pm, Thu 29 Aug. General Lyndon Buckingham and Commissioner Bronwyn Buckingham will be visiting the Australian Territory from 26 August to 2 September 2024 and will be here at NBC on Thu 29 Aug and you're all welcome to join this event (registrations required). Their visit will be an opportunity for each division to come together in person and hear firsthand from the General and Commissioner about how God is at work globally across our movement. Registrations close 12 August.
He Promises
Sermon series, Sundays 9.30am, 7 Jul - 25 Aug. When the storms of life blow hard and threaten to knock us over, what helps us keep standing upright? What can we hold on to? The promises of God. Through God’s promises we know both who God is and what He’s told us He will do for us. The Bible provides foundational truths about the promises of God, and gives us access to tools in knowing how to walk successfully as followers of God. As humans, we often break our promises, either intentionally or unintentionally, but God will never break a promise. What He promises, He will do. As we go through this series, let's be reminded of a God who loves us and wants us to be with Him in eternity. His promises endure forever.
Living the Good Life
Sermon series. This Sunday is our final Sunday in the series, so come and hear from God and learn how you can "Live Peace Full Lives". Don't forget the extra resources for you to go through at your own pace, or use in your life groups. Will see you Sunday 9.30am!
KRASH
2-4 July. KRASH stands for Kids Really Are Special Here! It's on Tues 2 Jul, Wed 3 Jul and Thu 4 July. It's for Prep - Grade 6 and it's only $10 per day, 8.30am-3pm. We do lots of fun activities like craft, board games, sport, video games and scootering. We also look at a Bible story and talk about what it means to be a Christian. Encounter Night
6pm-7pm, Every Second Sunday of the Month. For NBC Youth & Young Adults. Then stay for supper afterwards. It's free!
Salvos Thrift Shop
8am-12pm, Thursdays & Fridays. Come and visit our Thrift Shop! There are heaps of bargains: clothes, bric-a-brac, glassware, CDs, furniture and heaps of other items to keep you busy whilst you browse. We love it when our community comes to visit so say hi to one of our friendly workers and enjoy your day! Heaps of free parking.

Our Thrift Shop is looking for some enthusiastic volunteers who'd love to give some time to help with sorting, preparing, pricing, setting up shop and a few other things that go hand in hand with this friendly retail environment. NBC Games Afternoon
Every 4th Sat of the month. 2pm-6pm @NBC Salvos. BYO games & snacks to share. 18+ (under 18's welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult). Tea/coffee provided. Soft drinks available for purchase. For more information contact Karyn.
