Newcastle Worship & Community Centre [NWACC] is a Salvation Army church in the Newcastle city suburb of Hamilton.
As you would expect from the Salvos, we are regular people from all walks of life. We are people of faith. Our Sunday worship is a celebration of God and an experience of His love for us. The teaching is Bible based and relevant to life today. During this time children up to years six at school are catered for in our kids Sunday School.
We offer a range of opportunities to help people connect with God and others and we invite you to join us any Sunday or during the week.

Whilst The Salvation Army is well known for its range of community services both here in Australia and across the world, we are first and foremost an expression of the Christian Church. All that we do in service of our community stems from our desire to worship God and serve people in the name of Jesus. We invite you to join us.
We offer a range of spiritual, welfare and assistance programs. We also work closely with the OASIS Hunter Youth Network, with whom we share our premises in Hamilton. We have a church service every Sunday at 10am. During the week we have fun activities for adults and children. Please join us for church or our weekly activities.
Here, in Newcastle, our mission is simply about knowing Jesus, making Jesus known and serving people in Jesus' name.
Our National Vision is: Wherever there is hardship or injustice, Salvos will live, love and fight alongside others to transform Australia one life at a time with the love of Jesus.
