Sunday 19th October 2014
Location: Parramatta Salvos
This event has been postponed until 2015.
Dear Friends,
We encountered the Lord in a significant way on Sunday August 24 as we knelt before Him “Trusting Him to Act on Our Behalf.” We acknowledged that these are challenging days for us as a Corps.
2 Chronicles 20 reminded us in challenging times we are to: Pray, Fast, Fix our eyes on Him, and Worship! We see in this chapter how the battle was won by God in their Praise and Worship, and God acted on their behalf.
Our desire is for us each to continue to fix our eyes on Him and through prayer and fasting and worship that we seek God’s direction for our Corps. Therefore, we invite all those committed to God through The Salvation Army, Parramatta to join us on SUNDAY 19 OCTOBER for such an occasion.
We invite you to set aside SUNDAY 19 October to:
Fast, Pray, Worship and Seek
Under the leadership of Captain Dr Grant Sandercock-Brown, we invite you to an afternoon where we will seek direction and clarification from the Lord regarding our Corps and ‘Where to from here’ looking into 2015 and beyond. This discussion will take place immediately after the morning meeting and will conclude by 5pm. Lunch will be BYO for those choosing not to fast from food. Afternoon Tea and Child Care will be provided.
Please mark this date in your calendar and join us on:

2 Chronicles 20:12
Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.
God Bless You
