13 April 2025 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Location: 426 Church Street, Parramatta
On Palm Sunday, 13 April, 4pm Parramatta Salvos will be hosting a dramatised recitation of the gospel of Mark. This will be performed by James Scott of Honest Puck Productions in the Function Hall.
“The story is remarkable – a fast-paced narrative in which Jesus encounters all kinds of people from the very poor to the very rich. What unfolds are extraordinary glimpses of otherworldly love and care for the grief-stricken and lowly, through to incredible anger and judgment against the most powerful forces in society who are abusing their positions. Religious or not, this story has so much to say to our society at this precise moment in time.”
James narrates the story and plays all characters in the show. The performance goes for 90 minutes which includes a 10-minute interval during which time, refreshments will be served. It is a free event, however there will be an opportunity for you to make a donation. All are welcome to attend. Please register online.
