Youth & Young Adults - Term 1 2022 Calendar

Hey Parramatta Salvos!

We just wanted to give you an update on Youth this year at Parramatta Salvos. 

After hearing feedback from 2021, this year we are taking a new approach to youth and young adults at Parramatta Salvos. 

We heard that our young people want to spend time hanging out together, so we are going to hold Youth & Young Adults Suppers on some Sunday evenings throughout the term from 5pm-7pm. These will be a gold coin donation to attend. If your family would like to host a supper, please contact Jayne!

We also heard that our youth want to do activities with their families and all generations across the church. In light of this our 'social activities' will be called Community Events, where everyone from Parramatta Salvos will be invited to attend. Parents, kids, youth, grandparents and anyone in between! We hope these events will facilitate great relationships across our wider community and be a fun time together. 

Finally, we will be continuing to hold our Youth and Young Adults Worship Nights on Sundays from 5:30pm. These nights are an opportunity to gather with other Youth and Young Adults from across Sydney and listen to great worship and speakers. Of course, parents and friends are welcome to attend these nights as well. 

We would love it if you put all the dates above in your diary and made it a priority to be there! We are excited about this new plan for youth in 2022 and hope that you will join us as we connect and grow together this year. 

A reminder that youth age is from school year 6 and above!
