The Salvation Army has been an integral provider of support and service to the Port Augusta Community over the past 130 years. Throughout this timeframe services and programs have been developed to meet the needs of individuals and families in Port Augusta, particularly those considered highly marginalised or excluded from easily accessing mainstream service or opportunities.
Current specialist areas include work within homelessness, emergency relief and opportunities for social inclusion through our Church.
Following a relocation of programs and resources in 2013 to a centralised facility located at Carlton Parade, The Salvation Army Port Augusta is well positioned for the long-term to continue providing holistic and empowering support that is accessible to the wider community.
