What is a Christian
A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ.
A Christian is a person who has decided to:
- Turn away from rebelling against God and trying to run their own life
- Trust in Jesus Christ and what he has done for us,
- Acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Ruler of their life.
Christians are not perfect, but we trust the claims of Jesus Christ, and His ability to help us to live in a way that is faithful to the character and teaching of Jesus Christ, and that will honour God.

"Dear God,
I know I am not worthy to be called a child of God and belong to your family. I do not deserve your gift of eternal life. I am guilty of rebelling against you and ignoring you. I need your forgiveness.
I want to turn from living my life in my own way. I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again to give me new life. I now acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Ruler of my life.
Make me a member of your family. Please help me to love you and serve you always.
