Have you got a few hours to spare during Winter?

If you are over 18 years of age and available to volunteer some time to help others within our community, we would love you to volunteer with Winter Shelter. Our program aims to provide basic facilities, hospitality and crisis accommodation to those who are experiencing homelessness in the city of Maroondah.

Our guests are offered “more than just a place to stay”, they are provided with a wholesome dinner, showering facilities, overnight accommodation, breakfast and a packed lunch every night of the week, from 1st June - 17th September.

If you can chat, listen, cook meals, serve food, socialise, drive a minibus, transport our trailer between venues, help in the kitchen, etc we would love to have you as part of our 2023 WS team.

An Information Night/Training session will be held for all new volunteers . 

Training Days will be:

Tue 9th May 6:30pm

Sat 13th May 9:30am
